another day in paradise.
just got word from home that my best friend is in jail, which sucks. what's worse is that among the charges, he may be getting in some more trouble over some shit that isnt even his fault. i've got some real winners for friends, huh? i feel shitty about it because before i left the states to come here, he was behaving (more or less) granted, we've done some shady shit together, but of the two of us, i'm the voice of reason. then i leave to come to this hellhole, and his life goes to shit. he was involved with the local cops, CID, and the ATF.... like i said, a real winner, huh? i've been through hell with this guy, and i feel so fuckin helpless being 11,000 miles away, and some part of me feels like its my fault he's in fuckin jail..... shit hell.
that's what i get for hangin out with a bunch of drunks and potheads....
on the plus side, it was sunny for once today. i got to work on my farmer's tan... whoopee....
and the like the book says, we may be through with the past, BUT THE PAST AIN'T THROUGH WITH US!
