I have never, in my life, seen a store busier than the apple store at the mall. I recently took my imac in for repair and both time I was in there (drop off/pick up) it was packed. There were little kids running everywhere, pounding on the display keyboards etc. Oh!! And its the largest concentration of nerds Ive seen outside of a Comic Book Store. 
They were super super helpful and my computer works great.

Well I feel like that a lot too but then I have to remind myself why people are the way they are. It's almost always down to lack of education these people have, in whatever form, the intellectual, cultural and physical poverty that so many people live in but what can be done about it. There are so many problems with 21st century society. But you're right, all that doesn't stop you from wanting to kick people in the face at times!
