Wow! Did my night in Bristol suck! We when to the Bierkeller which was supposed to be a rock night but was destroyed by the amount of emo that was played. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against emo but it's real hard to dance to the slower riffs and whiny singing. Hense I like my styles of music, if I want to listen to someone moan about there girlfriend dumping them, I'll listen to some folk or country but when I wanna go and rock, I wanna Rock!
If the police had or raided the joint, I'm sure a lot of arrests would have been made as all the 14 year olds bounced around the dance floor to one of three (yes 3!!) Linkin Park tracks played that evening. I shit you not my friends. There was even one girl wearing a school uniform and it was a bit too convincing, if she was a day over ten then...
Anyway we returned to the 'Nam with the sounds of heavy industrial frying (and soothing) our brains. Then came last night when someone suggested we when to see Van Helsing.
For anyone who has not seen this film then do yourself a favour and go and read a book because it's two hours of your life that you'll that never get back.
