A little welding news: did my practice CWB tests, which are single bevel butt joints in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead. It was damn stressful, and I may or may not have done well enough to have them bend without failing. Wish me luck! Of course, I still have to finish gouging the backing strips off, cutting them, and grinding them. *whew*

Have I really not updated since Monday? Crazy. Well, I finally passed the 6010 overhead weave, or rather, my instructor finally took pity on me. I was getting better dramatically, but I probably should have been a bit better before passing. *shrugs* Ah well, on to the 7018 overhead stringers, which don't look too bad.
