Well, looks like things may be looking up, I hope. It looked like I was gonna be moving out of my house last weekend, but my best friend gave me some much needed help at the last minute, thus buying me some more time. So, I have at least another month to either find a place or move, but at least this time I'm a little more prepared for either outcome. I'm learning more and more during my roommate search, and figuring out what I need to do. Previously, I was asking for $350 rent, plus half of the bills. Now, for a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom house, that's not a bad deal at all. Unfortunately for me, there are other people that just happen to be making better offers than that. Most are simply just charging around $400-600 a month, with all bills included. Now I'm not sure if I can take on the bulk of the bills like they're doing, but it looks like that's what I'll have to do just to compete. So, that leaves me to ask for $525, including bills. So, lets see how this works out. Also, I finally have money to get my damn AC fixed, which I'll probably try to do in the next couple of days. I hope I get a roommate soon, and my chances are better this time around. I just hope I don't have anyone else change their mind on me, or flake out on another meeting like today. Either way, I should be fine through the end of the month, and probably through June.
