Finally, some good news. Looks like the roommate search is over. Got a hit from a woman who's daughter is coming to school here from Canada. She'll be staying here at her parents' expense, which is perfectly fine with me. I'm waiting on the check for the first and last month's rent, and she should be arriving right after that. Things are finally looking up, and hopefully they stay that way.
Finally got the info from my cousin about a job he mentioned to me a couple of weeks ago. It basically involves installing satellite television, at least that's as far as I can tell. It pays about 20 an hour, which sounds very good to me. Hell, 15 an hour would be good at this point. It's in Arkansas, which means that I'll have to make a trip for it, but I think it'll be worth it.
