Technical question: the DVD player on my machine don't wanna work. I get that "this program is not responding" alert with two different media players; it's already been sugested that the drive just needs to be cleaned, since the 'puter itself is as dusty as my French grammar. Ideas?

Questions to consider: Is this a new drive? Has it worked for you in the past? Is the DVD upside down? Have you installed/upgraded anything recently that may have affected it? Any problems with other applications or hardware? Can you hear the disc spinning when you put it in there? When was the last time you popped the top and cleaned out the dust on the inside?
