well, it's about fucking time for an update, i guess... not that this week has had much to report, other than the Pistons waking up and winning a couple games. (SHEEEEEEED!)
work and weird fatigue have still consumed me for the most part, but i am hoping to shake it off and enjoy a good weekend here - the weather has cooled down and i have an old friend coming to visit.
i've known him since the 4th grade, and he'll be back out here for my wedding in the fall, but he's in town to play a show at Uncommon Ground sunday night. he still lives in Maine where we grew up, so he's really branching out to be playing a gig in Chicago. i still remember when he first picked up a guitar.
anyway - i'll be back soon with my regular cryptic ramblings, but i figured i'd get in a quick word before the weekend hits.
you know, i also think part of my problem with updating was that i loved seeing that picture of Mia every time i got online, so - i'm just going to put another one up!

yeah, if Horry and Reggie Miller ever got together, that team would never lose, and always win in the last 10 seconds of every game. It's a great series, but I just hate Larry Brown with an (admittedly) irrational passion. Last year I actually wanted the earth to open up under the court and swallow him, kobe, and bill walton *Sideshow Bob shudder*
