getting lifted on thursday night with trebly buzzing guitars







that took kind of a dark turn, huh? hahaha...

this really was the wandering journey i took through youtube earlier. the visuals in the second video reminded me of these old Richard Kern films i used to have back in high school on a dubbed VHS compilation, and i found the one i was looking for - but somebody gave it a different soundtrack. Lydia Lunch is in there, and you can see where the cover of Sonic Youth's EVOL comes from in there as well. i kind of wish the original music was there, but damn i love me some French black metal, so using Blut Aus Nord is fine by me. it actually gives the bit even more darkness, if you can imagine.

seeing some SGC folks that i haven't in some time tomorrow night, really looking forward to that. having a couple friends over for dinner saturday, probably will pick up some bbq from Smoque...

and hey, i know some guys that will be DJing and actually playing lots of French black metal sunday night at the Metal Shaker if anyone wants to come out and swill some cheap beer with me... i'm betting there'll be some of that new Amesoeurs on the speakers for sure... damn, that album is beautiful.
