so i've got three things making me feel happy and good this Monday afternoon.

number one is the fact that my frustrating stretch of unemployment has ended. Friday, i received a verbal offer from a company that i've hinted at good things happening with in the past on here. it was a better offer than i thought i'd receive from them, and given the time to think more about it, and talk to more people in the company, it strikes me as something i could really enjoy doing, as well as being a company i can enjoy working for. i just got the official offer letter moments ago, and i'm hoping to start this week, perhaps as soon as Wednesday. i will tell you all more about it as i get settled in.

a quick additional note about it, though - the job requires me to go out to their main headquarters for three weeks of training pretty early on, so i will be in Pennsauken, NJ for most of the back half of May - it's right across the river from Philadelphia, and i'm hoping to see some more of that city and perhaps hook up with some of you that live in that area while i'm out there. give me a shout if you want to start thinking about that - otherwise i might just spend all my evenings in my hotel watching playoff basketball.



which i'll do plenty of anyway, because that's my number two thing that's making me happy - the Bulls swept the defending champs Miami Heat out of the way in a 4-0 stomping in the first round, playing tough defense and beautiful, fluid offense. next up is Detroit, which will be a tougher row to hoe, but we did beat them in three out of four games this season... i've watched this team take shape and grow for the last 4 years or so, and they are turning into a force to be reckoned with. good stuff.

and the number three item could probably have been guessed by anyone who's remotely familiar with my past appreciation on this site. there's not much that makes me happier to see happen on here than a new set from AnnaLee - let alone one shot by Cherry. they make a fantastic team.



i always tell her and anyone that will listen how stunned and hypnotized by her sets i am, and this new one is of course no exception. make sure you go check out this beautiful girl - look at her older sets, too - they're all amazing. she's truly magical. one of my absolute favorite people on this site.



so yeah, it's a pretty good beginning to the week. thank you again to all of you that have helped carry me through the rough months previous. the sun is coming back around.
