no pictures or multimedia for you this time. all i got is this:
i am now officially unemployed. i will never again return to the stores i worked at for 10 1/2 years. in fact, they will cease to exist themselves in short time. i am wondering when this will hit me emotionally, or if it will at all. it might not, ever. which i am simultaneously depressed and impressed by.
i have a few days ahead of me with the house to myself and me and the cats are going to listen to lots of loud music, dance around, drink, and sleep late. the new year will be when i deal with reality. ok? let me have a few days to hang loose.
i sold a fuck-ton of CDs at Reckless today and came home with a smaller fuck-ton of new CDs. my buddy MFN came by tonight and we drank a handful of beers while digging through the stacks. this is truly what i enjoy in life.
please, go say hello to my friend mighty_DR. he's been a close friend for more than 25 years now, and i just gave him a membership for xmas. he's just altered his life significantly, and is starting over in a new apartment in a new city. (if anyone pays attention to my profile details, he is the 'Dave' that lived in my hometown. until recently. i had to change that shit since he isn't there anymore.) y'all can help keep his energy positive and active.
