Thanks! It's the first time in like 10 years my parents have come to visit me so I'm pretty excited. Should be an interesting weekend!

Well, our friends stuff was.. ok. Its good that he's not at all pretentious though, just does stuff for fun. Which makes the fact that the stuff isn't the "best ever" too.. obvious. He's best at doing stuff on the computer. The paintings are a little too "common". In my opinion.

you should check out Akira Kurisawa's dreams if you haven't already. I think this movie, as amazing as it is, might have been better if you were the fodder for it.

I'm hanging out with my friends that also moved here, I'm working, I'm making my new place look sweet, I'm studying up for my motorcycle test (my scooter should be here this week!), I'm drinking more than usual 'cause I've been trying out all the bars around here, I've been playing lots of Ms. Pacman, I've been meeting new boys, buying lots of new records and avoiding working on my writing.
What am I doing here? Yeah well, when I went to eastern europe last spring I was in complete devastation for months after I got back. I just can't look away and pretend its not there you know..
I've been to NY when I was a kid, but I guess I mostly saw the "good parts" of the city. Although I was in Chicago once when I was a little older, and there certainly were depressing stuff around.
Living in the boonies can be a bore, but it certainly makes me feel better about living.

well this Pelican release has Justin Broadrick featured on it... which means it's fucken gold.. i have the record and it's fucken great... however i would say that the songs Justin remixes are better.
