Ok let me go off on Michael Mann a littl here...

Honestly, I really love the guy. I own Manhunter, Heat, Ali, the Insider, so yeah, overall I really dig him. I was kind of surprised to see that he was directing Miami Vice but given the fact that he directed episodes of the show, it only seemed fitting. Still, it was Miami Vice, it was an attempt to make a summer blockbuster and not really a "quality" film. I was telling Annie that it could've been called Bad Boys III and had the same exact plot. As for the HD, I have a love/hate relationship with it. Sometimes I find it absolutley fitting (Ali, The Insider), other times not so much (Miami Vice). So at the end of the day, I like Michael Mann....but I really didn't enjoy Miami Vice. Tell me what you think when your pretty little ass goes to see it.

Seriously man....be honest, the community here is far from what it used to be. The boards used to bump around these parts. There was always something going on. That's not quite the case anymore. Trust me, I wish that this wasn't the case, but it is.
There seem to be a lot more people on the site than before, yet the boards are a hell of a lot slower.

As for you going out with people you know from here, that's cool...but that has really nothing to do with what I'm talking about. Those are your friends now.....not just your "e-friends." As for the connections with people here....I'm still connected to the people whom I connected with back in the day.....but since then, nobody. I personally find it harder here to connect now than I did before with both members and SG's.

It has nothing to do with, you get what you give....

You can be a good person and support the site and still get zotted for a stupid ass George Bush picture....twice.

I'm shocked with your total lack of refusal in admitting to see any kind of difference in this place. But whatever....go team, go.

Yes, I am in the middle of selling the current apartment right now and preparing for all the address changes and so on. So soon I'll be completely out of the internet for a while before its been set up in the new apartment.
Still, I've been trying to stay away from the computer the last couple weeks.. feels like I'm missing out on life when Im constantly sitting behind the computerscreen you know?
And since its summer I try spending as much time as possible outside as this warmth us swedes so much treasure soon will be long gone and there will be lots of time to sit inside.

yeah, wish i went. but i felt like ass from a late saturday night at a strip club. i got in for free and free shots and beer. went with the owner of the neighborhood bar i frequent. he apparently frequents this strip club a couple nights a week, so a group of us all got in for free, sat in VIP, and he picked up the bill. pretty kickass, i barely know the guy. Sword will be back around.
