We took the kids to a folk festival this weekend. Its not our thing really , all those hippies, but we try to expose our kids to alot of different cultures and "scenes"..They really liked it. Oscar stayed back with us but not Des! Instead of dancing in the crowd of other kids in front of the stage, he just had to sit ON the...

I was thinking about going to a reggae festival this fall. I used to go, but I think both my boys would love it. Caden is 4 and he loves to be goofy and dance around, I know he'd love it. Sounds like it was a good trip.

I love mints. A certain kind, no name english mints. I also check the date on them. Mar07 is the date I prefer. Then i know that they are "fresh" Kinda chewy and won't break my teeth. I had that happen with these mints from another store where they didn't restock. It cost $400 to fix my left lower molar. I still eat them though....

Saturday was alright. I picked up my new jewellery at the tattoo shop and showed off my new girl. My peircer (more friend really) couldn't get the plugs in the are a size bigger. I think its that she can't hurt me without feeling bad. I waited overnight because the trying of it made my lobes sore a bit. Anyhow I got those suckers in...

The town where I grew up is only an hour away from here but seems like it should be farther. We go quite a bit back there so the grandparents can see the kids but it always feels weird to me. People drive soo much slower. I don't fit in at all, there seem to be no people my age there..its all kids or seniors....

Its weird, isnt it? How things are so much different even just being an hour away.
When I moved from the beach citys to where I am now, it was a total shock. Im still trying to get used to it.

I am glad you are living somewhere that makes you happy. And and hour is not that long to go to visit. I have always lived in very ecletic, metorpolitan areas.... Sometimes I want to move somewhere more remote. But in the end I am very greatful for where I bought.
Have a great week.

So, the cental air man is here right now, in the baement checking it all out..so I must have some clout with my husband or the threats of no sex finally worked. I dislike that he dragged his heals getting the dude here, waiting until first big heat wave but ..whatever he's here now.
I just smoked a bit of a phat one out on...

I swear to God that I will divorce my husband if he doesn't get central air installed this week. We bought our own house this year that is like 80 years old. Which means that these huge ass windows don't open! Its 32 degrees out today and the humidity is 55%....I am post partum (little lissy is three weeks old now) so I'm sweating normally...

ahhh sleepy bliss. Feeling so happy this week even though I'm completly sleep deprived. Trying not to think of things that could happen...I used to be happy but always be waiting for the "other shoe to fall". Not anymore...at least for now I am just going to be happy. Live in the moment.

i know! that's excatly how i feel about it. I've taken my time to get what i've got done.

you have the outlook on life i wish i could have. i tend to freak about things that i have no business freaking out about. i always plan for the worst. i wish i could just think of the day i'm living in and be thankful.

ok ok so its been forever since I updated. On Friday May 5 th I had my c section. I was a little freaked out the night before and a little sad because I was also getting my tubes tied the same time. I was told in two ultrasounds that it was a boy and I already have two (toddler boys) so I was resigned...

So it's Tuesday night. Fridy morning is when my scheduled caesarean is happening. Little boy number three (his is STILL UNNAMED!) will be born at 9 AM! I'm starting to freak out a little. I thought I'd be all cool because I've done all this twice now in the last three years but it's my first time having a c/s so there is all this...
