Our lovely government gave us a long weekend this weekend and named it (the Monday) Family day.

Well isn;t that swell.

Yesterday we got a call from my Mother in law, she and her hubby wanted to come see the kids before they leave for a trip. I was less than pleased but sucked it up. I cooked a big meal for everyone and they all had fun, visiting. I knew that today I had the Father in law coming for the same reason so I was kinda pissy that my whole weekend was gonna be keeping house clean and laundry done for company plus cooking the normal 4 times a day for my brood , only to tack guests on too. I had enough left overs from last nights meal tthat would have been just fine for today but expecting MORE company meant that I would have to do something big again, like a roast...

Due to freezing rain, the father in law cancelled today WHEEEEEEEEEEEE now my house is all tidy and kids are stoked about new toys they earned yesterday AND I don;t really hafta cook today so YEAH Me and bad weather.

So now we have two days of no extra chores , no comapny that I loathe and just time to play and have fun just us.

The rain is making the two feet of snow we had all gross and wet and brown muck..so we will just stay in , eat yummy food, and play with the train set and watch the Stooges as a family.

I am a happy and relaxed trix today.
