Good weekend. I went shopping, which I loathe and tripped out a bit in the mall. It really is an enviroment I am not entirely comfortable in. Anyway I intended to get something different but ened up buying The Uniform, new jeans, 4 new black tees, and a purse (they always fit). Then I went apeshit buying Evy some rad threads, like pink cammo hoodies , that is really fun but still..I really needed clothes but got discouraged by my new different body, and at least I know her clothes will fit and I won't have to try them on.
On Sunday we watched Iron Giant with the kids, and pillows and little boxes of caramel corn. It was fun and sticky. Loved the movie. We did a playdo session too for a while during which I played the kids some Carpenters...like a best of but done by better people..They liked it , especially "the space song..."
This week, on Wed. Oscar has surgery (not a big deal...day surgery ) so we are taking it easy till the parentals arrive on Tues ..night..

it's really true! even the first session I went to by myself allowed me to be able to talk to cliff more openly without making him feel attacked. I really hope us both going will open up a lot of communication..maybe he'll learn how to talk with me.
