I love nursing my baby girl. I just plain love it. I wish all moms could have this experience. I know that there are some that find it difficult and therefore they just can't but I have been blessed to find it easy and lovely.

She hums now when she eats. She wraps her little hands on either side of my boob and nurses while humming. Its so sweet. She always gives me a big milky grin after. She looks so peaceful. I know its good for her but selfishly it is even better for me.

I love that only I can do this for her. I think that even when I'm eighty years old I will remember the view of my children as babies on my breast. The view only I can see , looking down...counting the tiniest lashes against their rosy cheeks so peaceful and happy. Holding thier tummies up to my tummy.

She is my last baby. I know this because I has surgery to make sure. I think it makes the experience even sweeter as I try to take memory pictures of it all so I'll never forget.


I try not to think of when she is ready to wean. I will just think of the now. and now is wonderful.
