Well, I'm kinda glad it is all over haha...I'm tired but it was good. I hope all of your holidays were good too. A little drama unfolded on the actual day when my mother in law showed up unexpectedly after cancelling along with 6 others from my husbands family a week before. They didn't like the fact that we also invited my Fahter in law..(who helped us buy this house we are in)..so in protest they all cancelled at the last minute causing alot of angry and hurt feelings..and wasted money and effort. However she showed in the afternoon just to give the kids their presents. I was nice and let her in but wasn't very friendly as she was bitchy..then the father in law pulled up and thats when she chose to make a bit of a scene...WHATEVER! she was a bitch and she left so we could carry on...
And carry on we did! The kids had a great day with the family that showed (and stayed) they loved all their presents...The 30 lb bird from my brothers farm turned out beautiful , like a magazine pic and a good time was had by all! I will post some pics tonight when I get around to it.
I am a bit tired as it was alot of work getting the house ready for all the people that stayed..we were expecting 12 but 7 were here including my folks who ended up staying three days...thats alot of extra cooking and cleaning my friends when I have three babies to care for too..but it was all worth it.
However I now want to get the tree down and it all put away...I would do it on boxing day if the hubby let me , but he thinks it should all stay to New Years..BAH
