BAD accident...I haven't been on lately because on Sunday night I fell and broke two of my ribs and bruised all the cartiledge around the front of my ribs too OUCH!
I was visiting my neighbour (the crazy mom I have mentioned before) ...she was recently beat up by her loser husband and it was her 5 year olds birthday so I wanted to help make her daughters day kinda nice , so I took the boys out to buy her a present. We got there around supper time so it was getting dark and went inside to give her , her gift. I didn't want to stay too long because the boys were tired and kinda crazy so I picked up Oscar and went on t he porch to leave. At the last minute Des turned to go back in and I was calling to him while holding Oscar and the porch light wasn't working and all of a sudden I just fell off the side of her front porch. It was about 6 feet high and I fell to the side and turned Oscar away from the ground which meant that I couldn't break my fall with my arms or anything and landed on my side, full impact onto a freaking garden gnome..which broke and bruised my ribs and knocked the wind out of me. I am in sooo much pain.
I also have a nursing 6 mos old, so no pain meds..and two active and dependant toddlers, so I have to have someone here around the clock to pass me my baby to feed and take care of the boys and me. I can't even dress myself or move really....My mom is here today and my mom in law is coming to take over for tomorrow. I am usually VERY independant and a control freak with my kids and house so even emotionally this is very hard time.
They say it will take 3 to 4 weeks to heal. I got so sore last night after Karl put me into bed ...I couldn't move an inch, evelyn was crying beside me in bed to nurse and I couldn't move to do it....I can't even cry because I can't breathe enough air to..
pray for me and a speedy recovery folks...I can't take this
