We took the kids to a folk festival this weekend. Its not our thing really , all those hippies, but we try to expose our kids to alot of different cultures and "scenes"..They really liked it. Oscar stayed back with us but not Des! Instead of dancing in the crowd of other kids in front of the stage, he just had to sit ON the stage on the egde facing the crowd. Everytime I moved up to move him off he gave me that look like "I will throw myself to the ground and kick Lady, so back off!!" So I did. He is so different from us really. He is such an attention hog and so ready to put on shows for people, any people. I remember when he first learned to walk and talk and he would go off with just about anybody and try to get in their cars and ask to go home with them! He is a little embarrassing sometimes but God love him and his funny little personality.
When we were there, I ran into a girl that I foled around with a few months before I got married. Karl kinda knew about her but not the full extent of it...ooops! I forgot to tell. You should have seen her face seeing me with my husband and three kids, its only been 5 years since I saw her last. She looked good, Karl said he felt cheated on seeing some hot girl/girl action between us. I think he was joking because he had plenty of oppourtunity back then and didn't want any part of it.
Anyway that was our weekend in a nutshell.
