This just in: Minority Governments Work!
Facing the likely toppling of his minority government, prime minister Paul Martin has been forced to accept a deal with the left leaning New Democrats. The deal was proposed by NDP leader Jack Layton, and ensures that in addition to corporate tax cut rollbacks, 4.6 billion additional dollars will be spent on affordable housing, education and the environment.
In other good news, I saw my first all electric car on my walk home today. I'm not sure of the model or make, but it was cute as hell.
