My computer, which is 5 years old and has had more upgrade operations than a Boca Raton matron, finally gave up the ghost last night. I've resurrected it, but I honestly don't know how much time I have. I've managed to transfer everything that's important to me, except I don't have any blank cds about to back up my mp3s. 
I called and arranged to cash in a savings bond to fund my flight to LA and a downpayment on a new system. So if you don't see me about, it means Rosie (I named her after the Jetsons' robotic maid) was laid to rest. I will be back though.
