Small family emergency. My mom had a heart attack on Thursday, and insisted the nurses not contact my sister and I until Friday morning. It was a small one, a wakeup call. She's in hospital. They're keeping an eye on her to make sure there's no blockage.

I've been at my mom's since Friday, keeping a houseguest company. My mom's getting better. I wanted to let you know I hadn't dropped off the planet (yet!)

My mom's gonna be in the hospital for a few more days. I will continue to sojourn in suburbia until she's well enough to hang out with the houseguest (my sister in law I've not seen for 27 years)

I just stopped by my apartment to say hi and work out, cuz I've not worked out in 3 days.
