This morning at around 5:30, I had an acid reflux attack so severe that I went white and almost fainted. My mom, who's been visiting, took my pulse and it was all thready. We called 911 thinking it was a heart attack. The pain stopped shortly after, which doesn't normally happen.
The guys turn up, and yes they are all men, about half a dozen of them, and they're all cute. Why do they have to be cute? They run a whole bunch of tests while I lie on the bed feeling like the biggest idiot. Can we say embarrassing?
I spent the next several hours propped up on pillows and I plan to go back to bed and do some more lying there. My work's not very happy I'm sure. It's the first day back after a long weekend. Meh.
My sister gave me a lecture about losing weight. I feel all-around chastened, mortified and yucky.
