My first thought about the new SG was "Wow, this looks like Myspace." My second was, "They want me to pick out my Top 5 Friends?" 
Apparently they give you a rotating batch of friends if you don't choose. I want you all to know that I didn't choose.
Aside from the blog calendar on the left, I'm not too enamoured with the newness. The pinkness makes me feel like I'm trapped on a promotional site for sanitary napkins. Where's my free box of pads?

WWOZ was the only thing that got me through the day driving trucks around NOLA. That and WRNO. "We are the Rock of New Orleans!" I'm so happy that WWOZ has a webcast. You have to check it out at different times. The DJs just play whatever they feel like. I think Sunday nights they usually do regge. Weekday mornings you can catch jazz roots. Friday nights is Blues and such.

Just for the record the new layout sucks. I hope they realize this and change it back fast
