So today is the day my new bed and air conditioners are supposed to arrive. I planned the day as a wasted Saturday as they said delivery between 9 and 5, and my experience with other deliveries lead me to believe it would be after 5.
I'm in bed about twenty five minutes ago, 3 minutes to 9, and my phone rings. It's the delivery dudes AND they're super perky and friendly too.
They bring everything up in super quick order and they're nice while they do it. I tipped them and they were really nice about the tip, like grateful as opposed to surly. I'm still not convinced they weren't Sears pod people.
It's certainly a contrast with my last delivery (different and shall remain unnamed company.) My mom was still staying with me. They haul the fridge up the stairs swearing (it IS a three story walkup), dump it in the middle of my kitchen floor and take off. My mom sees them a few minutes later in my parking lot, and they're pissing against the dumpster.
Long and short of it all, I feel like someone just GAVE me a Saturday. *dance*
