Today was *quite* something. I'm ready to crawl into a hole and sleep for a few centuries. Of course my hole would still have my crappy bed and I'd probably sleep badly. C'mon Saturday and my new bed.

My workday was filled with botch ups, angry people and just general stress. I think this might be somewhat related to it being the deadline for mailing taxes.

Yesterday I had a few minutes where I felt disconnected and asked everything to help me reconnect.

This morning I was in a really sad mood when I woke up. On my way to work, in my new orange sweatshirt, I was stopped by a funny woman on the street in the rain. She went: "Orange! Orange like my volkswagen! I love orange!"

I was in a big hurry running late to work, so I smiled and said I loved orange too as I walked somewhat sideways, looking at her.

I reached the corner. She's still standing in the middle of the sidewalk, looking at me. She gets this mock serious look on her face and and cements her allegiance to the colour orange with: "Do you know I've never eaten an orange?"

I felt like something was trying to cheer me up, but the whole interaction made me teary happy-sad, like one of those universe talking to me crazy moments. I felt happy for being with it and sad because I could feel all the parts of it I've met which have passed.

Peeling the skin back from my eyes, I felt suprised
that the time on the clock was the time I usually retired
to the place where I cleared my head of you;
but just for today, i think I'll lie here and dream of you.
