I had a big blowup on my mom and she's moving out in the next couple days, moving back to her house. I kept needling her to get an apartment because I don't think she should be living in her big rickety old house alone, but she kept hedging. It was doing neither one of us any good. I'm looking forward to being alone again, to opening the windows and clearing out my home of 2005, which I would have to say was one of my least productive years on record.
2005:
-gained a gazillion pounds and essentially stopped working out.
-developed a fierce WoW addiction (thank you M & L for buying me this crack!
)
-read a few books.
-endured having my mom as a roommate. To be honest, it wasn't any more pleasant for her, having to live with me.
-got to know a wonderful person a lot better, and meet his family.
-took a month off work to spend time with this person, and also got to know LA in the process.
-got to go to NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab!
-chocked up a whole lot of airmiles.
-went to kauai!
The best thing about 2005 was the delightful surlyclown. NASA came along in a not-so-distant second.
Come on 2006! I've got plans for you!
