So I watched the unveiling of the new xbox today.
They had a press conference at 1 pm Est that ran for a couple minutes over a hour. My cousin and I sat down with buffalo chicken tenders and a couple cans of drinks and watched. To say we were excited would be a understatement. If the system performs half the functions that it is supposed to I am quite definitely going to get it. It is a pretty significant graphics and speed increase and there is a lot of new game engines built around the new system specs. It is also expanding the general usage of the system by incorporating more features that non-gamers and light-gamers are likely to use.
Everyone has been saying that the new gen Xbox would not have any advantage over the new Playstation. While this may be statistically true (since both are recognizable brands and will be coming out at the same time and have similar hardware) I for one have no interest in the Playstation after the press release for Xbox today. None of the specs are especially that amazing and I have never heard anything good about playstation network. Not sure I am all about the cloud gaming sytems. But since both will have something like it, I will go with the evil I know.
