Cover charge fodder... as in you would pay for her to see her boyfriend's band?? Isn't there like a law that says Girlfriends get in free? I guess I don't understand the question. If it sounds like you'd enjoy it, go for it. Otherwise, I don't really have any plans on a Friday night either...

What I do understand though, is that Against me! is playing First ave on November 23 (a Friday) with Sage Francis and various others - I'll have to check my Thanksgiving calendar, but it sounds like fun. If that doesn't work, The same lineup plays in Chicago on the 21st and 22nd, and I'm pretty sure my mom can't make it to Thanksgiving at grandma's - so I might take a couple days off, visit mom, see Against Me! in the Windy City, perhaps see Chewie, and then spend Thanksgiving with the Family. If you'd like to tag along, our family has an open door policy for friends to join in the festivities and as you know, my mom always enjoys company.
