to go to ArthurFest or not...Its got a great lineup but the band I want to see play is sooo early. I mean really, who goes on at 3:30 in the afternoon; that is just ridiculous. Next time the lovely people over at Arthur decide to put on any kind of show, they need to first confirm all bands and set times with me because, you know, I know am just that important damnit! Janet!
On the other side of things, went to this wicked cool CU bar down in Manhattan Beach! Picture this: about 100 CU grads all cheering and hollering for the Buffs. Before you ask, yes. We were the idiots taking shots of Jager ever time the Buffs scored at 12:30 in the afternoon, but really, who cares? The Buffs pulled out a victory of the Rams. Our first victory in our National Championship season. well, maybe not, but hopefully it will be a good one, unlike several of the past seasons we have had.
Interpol tickets finally came in the mail this week. Now that is going to be one hell of show that no one should ever miss. Interpol at the Greek Theater! and if that is not enough excitment for that show, I guess I lucked into some pretty decent tickets: Section A, Row A, Seat 5. Yep, front row center!!! thats reallly all I need to say about that because I know you all are jealous of that.
and now, to come full circle...ArthurFest at 3:30? fucking Olivia Tremor Control and there 4 date "Tour". Why can't they play a real show in LA. i would the first in line to that. Why cant "their friend Jeff" (we do not speak this man's true man) be social and say he is going to the show. Or even more important, is "there friend Jeff" the secret act before Cham? Why cant they just play close to my house? Why? Why? Why? At least I know Spoon puts on a good live show.
Hopefully, there will be at least decent free parking, but I highly doubt it.

i'm missing out on interpol this fall in favor of minus the bear on the same night. it's cheaper and i've still never seen them live. how did you get that close?
