My current thoughts on best CD of the year: frankblackfrancis.
I just cant seem to stop listening to the demo cd. Its just amazing. The two highlights are "Ive been tired" and "Subbacultcha". it should be required listening for all. I mean what is better than a young (and skinny) black francis? Not much...well i can think of one thing
. Here's something that is not as good as black francis, frank black and the Two Pale Boys covering "the gospel" (that would be the other disc in frankblackfrancis". I think Charles has a few too many names, but they might work for him. The only thing that he could possibly due to top this effort would be to record a new Pixies album with Tom Waits. Can you imagine the music that would come from that? ::chills:: I dont even want to think about that one ::chills:
So the count down to break begins. Well, i guess it hasn't really started since i dont know when im finsihed but its pretty close. If i had to guess, i would say under two weeks... Im sure that finals start on Friday with my memorization test. i think should find out when im done so i can plan my TV watching time (and maybe some gift shopping too for the family and more importantly my girl)
