Today was fun
Martial arts at noon, played around on guitars at the Fret Shop with my dad... went blacksmith tool hunting then had a late lunch around 3:00 with my dad... kicked around for a few hours and went to a 'fighter practice' with the SCA. (Society for Creative Anachronism)
It's basically like renaissance fair for the medieval times. Fighter practice is when all the guys in their area who fight in the events put on metal and leather armor (yes, real metal armour) and fight each other with foam padded sticks. (rattan like sticks with 1/2 in of dense foam)
It was hot, sweaty, and we all had a blast! I got to wear borrowed platemail and they said I was a natural
I guess it was all that martial arts weapons training 
Phrase of the day: Good hit!
Question of the day: Did you just hit me in the butt with your sword?
Need of the day: One gallon of gatorade in an I.V.
