Wrote another song at work... damn those voices for shouting lyrics at me all fucking day...
Anyone know how to shut the fucking voices up for a little while? Ive tried just about everything... they only get louder and more incoherent when i drink.

Anyway, i call this one Mindshard



Shattered shards of silver glass
Echoes of a broken past
Pale skin stretched in silent scream
Just like frost on frozen dreams.

Dancing lights to guide my way
Hear what voices have to say
Watch the sunset when you're blind
With your ravaged, broken mind.

Drift into eternal sleep
Minds eye sees the children weep
Drowned in ashes cold and deep
Into their mind the terrors creep.

Break above the clouds and soar
On a misty cotton floor
Return to earth through heaven's door
Long to fly forevermore!

Never see the sky again.
Smell the stench of burning skin
Fire surrounds you like a grave
Crushed by crashing burning waves!

Cracks of darkness swiftly race
O'er the mirror's shining face
Separate the mind's embrace
Give each separate shard a face!

Spin like flecks in hurricane's
Thoughts within my troubled brain
Never to align again
Until my body meets it's end.
