Ever since I got back to the village I had been looking forward to spend some time in blessed solitude in my home, cleaning, working out and generally get in tune with the new year. It didn't take long before that vision soon started to crackle. Only hours after I had arrived I got a text from Jimi Hendrix asking if I was back in the village. I knew he had spent most of the holiday here and with everybody gone I didn't blame him for starting to feel lonely. He had probably seen the lights in my window when he parked his car. That's what you get for having your apartment by the parking lot.
I didn't reply until the next day. He replied almost immediately asking me if I wanted to come along to Ullared - the huge outlet some fifty kilometers north of here - and when I replied that I was just on my way out to take a long walk he quickly suggested that we'd take the tour tomorrow instead and offered to come with me walking.

After that we have spent pretty much every waken hour together, and not that he isn't a good guy but I am seriously getting a bit fed up. After the walk we watched movies at his place and the tour to Ullared - as fun as it may have been - took almost five hours, and then we had to try out his new home cinema to watch North Face.

I left with the excuse that I had to get to bed early tonight. By this I naturally mean I won't be out on facebook so he might see me. Tomorrow I had to clean, work out, write and mail some letters and go downtown to shop.
"And have a beer at Fox and Anchor", he exclaimed when I was done.
"Yeah... but that'll be later", I vaguely replied, already mentally searching for suitable excuses.

He is a nice guy, but this social thing is really getting on my nerves.

accuser:
Could always just honestly tell him that you came back early specifically to get some time to yourself. Nothing against him, just you'd rather hang out a couple times a week than every day.
