Tired. It is a quarter to ten and I am dead tired.

Another week in the service of my country. It's a clich. What I have really been doing is running around shooting, practicing battle positioning, doing weapon care, exercising, cleaning the floor and polishing my damn shoes. (This also reminds me that I need to bring a panty hose to work on Monday for the polishing. Nothing gives as good polish as nylon, belive it or not.)
We have been doing twelve hour minimum for three weeks now, and it is getting to us. We are getting rediculously tired and irritated at eachother and ourselves. I have lost three kilos already, and I have clearly gotten stronger. I got my stuff from Ireland today, and the 25 kg box that I had such problems carrying when I sent it a month ago didn't seem heavier than a normal box now.
Might have something to do with the twenty kilo battle pack we have been carrying around all week.

On another good note my cell phone broke down this week. Apparently it was not made for repeatedly throwing yourself on the ground shouting "cover!". What do you know. Now I need a new computer AND a new phone. As you can see, my life is rocking.

However, humor: The bus home from the regement showed Full Metal Jacket. Shouting officers, marching, weapon care... I was not very impressed the last time I saw it. This time I found it much more entertaining.
