I just zapped across South Park on Irish tv. In Irish. And I don't mean the funny "Angela's Ashes" kind of irish. I mean gaelic. The real thing.
And it sounds hilarious. If I find it on the internet I'll post it. For you who haven't heard it, it sounds like an englishman speaking complete jibberish.

You got to love it.

that's bizarre - i kind of wish they'd dub some shows into scots gaelic just for the entertainment factor, and so the gaelic speaking northerners would have something decent to watch in their own language rather than just. . . shows about fishing hosted by beardy guys in arran jumpers.

Fishing shows, local news and cartoons, that's what they get here. I have also seen Tom & Jerry in gaelic, which was almost equally as interesting. But what I would really like to see in gaelic is Rikki Lake Show. Or maybe Battlestar Galactica.
The most fascinating thing was that Cartman really sounded like Cartman. But speaking jibberish.
