Am I the only one who took a long holiday due to the nasty slowness of this site? Bad enough I waste hours rooting through this detritus (present company notwithstanding).
I want my poetry to spear the reader, piercing them to the very foundation of their soul, ripping them wide open and leaving them gasping for the self image that just evaporated before their eyes.

I think you'll always want them more because the idae of them is never desecrated; the guy you went out with for 6 months will never be as good as the guy you slept with twice and then he had to leave, you stayed in touch but driftted apart because the latter is always a fantasy, the reality of relationships breaks that spelll. then you start to weigh up how much they fulfilled/what they disappointed, if the ratio is lacking then its unsuccessful and you sit dreaming of the one that never broke your illusions. they're my favourites when I run out I actually refuse to give in to people I really really like just so I can keep them in that box. masochistic and fun xx

I spoke with Jeremy and Adam tonight at the gym. Jeremy is willing to help out with the Hood situation any way he can. According to him, there is a third landowner who owns the top of the cliff on the dark side. The situation just got more complicated. Three independant landowners each with differing interests. Fuck this is gonna be a crazy ride. I think I know who built the bridges as well. They became rather defensive when I asked about that. I just did the math. Regardless, Z says he knows so I'll wait to hear his version.
Finally got my basement rented so the cash crunch is, well, not as
crunchy. Now I have to delve into the Residential Tenancies Act and several
other documents to get on top of my responsibilities, rights, processes
etc. Started climbing again too which feels good. Hopefully that will last.

Aaaaahhhhhh! A climbing night with Camalot and friends. What a relief. Now I can go to bed and rest, knowing I will wake tomorrow in a tangle of knots and not be able to move for several days without discovering a new way to hurt. Can't wait until next week.
Aw, duuuude. Ummm, monday I'm meeting with my mortgage guy, then racing off to the Hood to draw topo's of the cliff faces. It seems that others have been developing routes there as well. I was out today to see for myself and it looks bad but nothing that cant be fixed. Interestingly, according to Zach (who is on his way to Paris from the gritstone fields of England) the face isnt owned by anyone. GRCA owns the base and UofW owns the top. If were not carefull, we could see a closure not of the cliff, but of the only two ways to access it. I'm doing photo topos and writing a report for the OAC. I'd really hate to loose access after Z put in so much work. Also, some ass cut down the tree at the base of the short .13a. Fuckers! Zach and Dave worked that route with the tree there the whole time. All those falls they took and not once did they hit the tree. That fucking burns my ass. You wanna come with when I go out there tomorrow? We can discuss the SB shoot as well.
