I want my poetry to spear the reader, piercing them to the very foundation of their soul, ripping them wide open and leaving them gasping for the self image that just evaporated before their eyes.

I think you'll always want them more because the idae of them is never desecrated; the guy you went out with for 6 months will never be as good as the guy you slept with twice and then he had to leave, you stayed in touch but driftted apart because the latter is always a fantasy, the reality of relationships breaks that spelll. then you start to weigh up how much they fulfilled/what they disappointed, if the ratio is lacking then its unsuccessful and you sit dreaming of the one that never broke your illusions. they're my favourites when I run out I actually refuse to give in to people I really really like just so I can keep them in that box. masochistic and fun xx
