Good Afternoon beautiful people of SG

I have a question, or survey rather...

how do you feel about businesses on social network sites? Positives/negatives.....what attracts your attentions, what is over kill etc.....


My boss wants me to start a twitter and Facebook for our company, so Ive been doing research on the business aspect of it all morning...now i want to get some personal expirences from people who use these sites and how they feel about it....

I must admit I tend to ignore any business type stuff on Twitter or Facebook (although I ignore Twitter anyway) For me its not what they are about these sites.

i managed the facebook and twitter for one of my previous jobs. it was late-night food catering to drunk college kids, so i would post relevant-themed funny stuff and try to encourage interaction. for example, "send me a funny video- funniest video wins a coupon for something free."
it worked for our audience i guess.
