So green, jumpy, and pretty full of life,
That s until a scorpion pierces it like a knife.
Hungry for bugs which it catches by tongue
From which no insect can escape once it's been clung.
Amphibious: living by land and water
Because sometimes it's too wet, and others it couldn't be hotter.
It ain't easy being green,
and few people know what I mean.
It's an eater of other creatures, but not really a predator,
for there are much bigger creatures nature has in store.
Some big enough to eat without stop,
