The protector of the city, the watcher on the wall.
Any man that dares challenge him should be careful not to fall,
Because this man inhabits the city's tallest landmarks,
So he can see the whole picture and see where evil leaves it's marks.
He sees the best in everybody, feeling no man is permanently bad,
But time after time his foes kill and kill, he might be wrong and that's sad.
He's beaten criminals, punched cops, and saved his city too many times to count.
He's above corruption, and never takes bribes no matter the amount.
People look at him and just see a sad moody face
And they can't see he's a dreamer, one that strives to make the world a better place.
A watchmen that watches while staying out of sight.
