He wants to be a pirate, but he has a long way to go,
If you want to captain a ship, you first have to learn to row
Your boat, flash your sword, and use your fantastic wit.
Whatever makes a man a natural buccaneer, this guy doesn't have it.
Sure he tries, and often succeeds, that I will give him,
But it's all been cartoon-y and fun, and hasn't actually been grim.
Being a pirate is more then finding trasure,
Or swooning ladies to satisfy your pleasure.
It's about adventure and mystery and weaving a great tale,
And hoping that you can tell it one day, that your quest won't fail.
He may not be great, but he takes it day by day,
