A poor girl that's cool and kind,
Even though she has lost most of her mind.
To an insane universe, very different from our own,
Is where she travels and where she has grown.
It's not her home, that burned down,
And the asylum she's locked in gives her nothing but a frown.
So she escapes into her own brain
which reflects just how much she is insane.
As a child it was colorful and much more sweet,
As an adult, inhabitants are slaughtered like pieces of meat.
Her white cushion room is just too bland.
Who is this girl that is also a wondrous land?
