*Barry really really hates South West Trains even more than he did before now 
. I left work early today to get home as the tickets for Nine Inch Nails London shows in march went on presale at 4 today . But no .. bloody signalling problems means im sat like a lemon in Waterloo for 20 minutes whilst they faffed about and faffed about some more ..so I get home at 4:20 ..tickets are all gone 
. My only hope is that was just the allocation they had for the people on the mailing list and there will be some more on sale to joe public at the weekend .. it says 'SOLD OUT' in big block capitals so im not exactly hopeful but we shall see .
If South West Trains have caused me to miss seeing one of my favourite bands then im going to skip as many fares as possible and launch a petty one man revenge campaign against them ...how many times they have scuppered my plans now I don't know .
*On a lighter note I had a rather good weekend , I wrote a story im very happy with based on the title 'It All Happened So Suddenly' that I was given ... its a real kick up the arse to myself story about not wasting my life and im really looking forward to reading it in the class.
The class has changed a bit since last term , quite a few new people including a deaf woman and her interpreter , so im probably going to end up knowing a bit of sign language by the end of it.
I also had a good meal and saw a fantastic film at the cinema last night with my buddy Kat , Garden State is so good
, one of those real feel good but not overly slushy films that warms the cockles .. really recomend it , a hell of alot better than the last film I saw ..that Flying Daggers bollocks.
Next two will hopefully be The Aviator and Closer ...they look like rather fine movies.
*In other news im going for promotion at work , been sorting out my application with my boss today , she seems pretty happy with it . Its a job I could defintely do and an extra couple of grand a year ...so we shall see how it goes ..forms are all due in by the 26th.
*Not a great deal going on the rest of this week , hopefully see some friends and go for a few drinkies with my work people ...and then on sunday im off to see Velvet Revolver with my friend Claire for some much needed rockage
Im seeing Green Day on Jan 24th and Rammstein on Feb 4th currently on my lonesome so if anyones going to any of those and want to meet up give me a shout . I don't mind movies by myself ..in fact I quite like them sometimes but a gig is so much more of a social thing ..so if theres anyone out there make themselves known *tumbleweed blows past*
