Anyway , quick update before bed.
Just got back from seeing Miss Siouxsie Sioux . She kept us waiting long enough before coming onstage , but damn was she worth it . She glided on looking like some sort of flamenco / geisha hybrid .. it was difficult to take your eyes off her , watching her skulk up and down the stage was so cool .
I was a bit concerned at first as they started with a few Creatures songs that I didn't know ..didn't know if she was going to be all premadonna ish and refuse to acknowledge the past like some artists do . I liked some of the Creatures stuff alot (some of it was a bit too drum heavy for my liking) , but what I was really there for was a whole string of Banshees classics
- Arabian Knights , Spellbound , Christine , Kiss Them For Me , Happy House ... and some other stuff I can't remember.
And I think I liked how she ended it - "this is the end , its supposed to be a celebration of a movement , so there'll be no fucking encore"
