Isn't it amazing what a little bit of sun can do for your mood ? . I love this and I haven't started sneezing yet , makes me happy .. better pack that lark in or i'll only go and spoil my moody gothy image 
. Im defintely meant for warm climates I think.
Anyway I went into town a bit early yesterday as I had hoped to see 'Lost In Translation' .. but they rather rudely changed there schedule and it wasn't on
. So I spent the time wandering about soaking in the sun and sitting in pubs reading my book . Im reading a real good one at the moment 'Hey Nostradamus ' by Douglas Coupland . Raises alot of questions , the central concept of the book is 'why do bad things happen to good people'? .
Got to HQ for 6 and we had a bunch of people show up for the early shift and then the rest of the usual suspects joined us after the film . Some people said it seemed subdued , I was happy enough though due to the increased drinking time and getting to meet some fab new people along with the old faves (i'll leave it to creamy to name everyone). I think I was basically in a much better mood than last time really 
. Its a shame im not going to this Cardiff thing as it sounds like its going to be pretty mad , but alas I have commited to two of my oldest friends birthdays.
All in all a good day , apart from stupid idiot that I am falling asleep on the train and ending up in the middle of nowhere . Some woman woke me up , I don't know how she knew that I had gone past my stop by quite a bit ..because we weren't at the end of the line . I dunno , maybe I was snoring or something . So I had to get an extortionately priced cab back to my area 
Which brings us to today , i've been at my dear old great aunts 80th birthday do , which meant nearly all the Newmans together under one roof . I try and avoid these kind of situations as a norm . So I had my big jolly 2nd cousin twice removed ..or something telling us all about his fireworks factory
, and some greasy old bloke making comments about me being dressed in black and arguing Jim Davidson over Harry Hill . Wasn't so bad really , im just a bit weird about all the little rituals you have for saying hello and goodbye at relative type events ..the conduct in general really , it just seems really false , and all the same questions they feel like they have to ask you . I find myself looking down on it all and wanting to cause a scene so I don't have to sit there and be like the rest of them . I shouldn't feel like that though as they are my family after all . I dunno is that weird ?
I am really looking forward to tonight though , im off to see one of the funniest people on the planet , mr Jack Dee
