once upon a time, this past saturday, this very cute girl stayed with me at my house. we watched a couple movies and drink a little bit among other things. so i wake up sunday morning and she needs a ride to my hometown an hour away so i say i'll take her but i look out the window and there's like so much snow on the ground and the streets are horrible. so we go out on this journey and i'm driving on the highway going 30-45 mph trying not to wreck. on the trip there and back i saw one wreck in person, and saw at least 20 other cars alongside the road. it was bad outside. so i dropped her off and decided i would go through mcdonalds for a soda and i go to the first window and the girl at the register doesn't have any pennies to give me change so i say don't worry about it. i pull up to the second window, and i can see that the inside is incredibly busy because of the greyhound bus stop that occupies the very same parking lot had a bus stopped. and i have a clear view of the front counter, so i'm looking and i see this incredibly beautiful hippy type chick ordering food and she didn't look familiar being that i was in my own hometown and she appeared to be around my age. i would remember a face like that i figured. so i turned my head so that perhaps i wouldn't seem like such a creep if she looked my way. so after a minute i look back up to see if they're going to give me the soda i ordered and i browse the front counter once more and that very same girl this time is staring back at me, right through my eyes as if she is looking into me, it was a strange feeling. then she smiles slightly and puts her hand up slightly and does like half a wave and then widens her smile. so i wave back, and i'm certain we don't know each other. she gets her order and leaves and i get my soda and start to leave the parking lot and i see her walking across, back to the bus. it was a refreshing moment to say the least.
