So far, the week has been fruitful. My Burning Man ticket arrived, my BassNectar CD arrived (and the disc, Diverse Systems Of Throb, is far more glorious than I would ever have imagined), I donated a few dollars to help save the tigers, did a few depraved things with someone I met at a fetish ball, and helped out a friend who's involved in organizing the Pisces Passion Party in LA on March 12th.
On the down side I still haven't landed a job, but that will come soon. And I miss my friends terribly. I had dreams of making it to LA for a quick trip this week to spend time with someone and have MrsMisha do some work, but alas that didn't pan out after all.
After much deliberation and inner turmoil, I've decided that I'm going to explore DJ'ing again. I was pretty good back in the day, but I walked away from live performing over a decade ago (for a number of reasons). I realized those obstacles aren't standing in my way anymore, and the idea is as exciting and as thrilling as it was when I first got behind a mixer. There will be new hardware to get familiar with, but I'll hopefully pick it up in no time.

i love that even though you're presently without gainful employment, you still found a couple bucks to donate to a charity.
i picked up eMOTIVe yesterday...good suggestion. i don't really know what i'm looking for. i'm jonesin for a new cd i can pop in and listen to straight through without getting bored...
