I would agree that if one kicks someone they disagree with, then writes their version of events and immediately closes a thread before anyone else has the opportunity to comment, the job of being a moderator becomes really easy. It also probably makes others a bit nervous and less likely feel comfortable enough to speak their mind.
I would also agree that it's not a time out unless you tell the other person. But it probably does make you look a lot better in other peoples' eyes if you tell them that.
Assume that the time out I'm supposedly on is permanent. Because otherwise the first thing I'd do is campaign for a change in group leadership (well, moderation - there hasn't been leadership in some time).

Seriously though, when are we going to get together and talk about things? I've been holding myself at arm's length from general debauchery, as my poor little insane mind can't take it.
I'll give you a ring sometime this weekend. And that journal was absolutely brilliant, I tell you.
I tried to tell you before but I will tell you again, that I wear my dogtag all the time, and people are always intrigued or complementing me on it. And then I flip it over!!
It's super fun, one of the best playa gifts ever.
Thank you!
